Williamtown Advisory Group

RAAF Base Williamtown is a major asset contributing to the strategic defence of Australia.

Air Force needs to work in a collaborative manner with the local community, and state and local government representatives to enable it to continue to function in this role effectively.  RAAF Base Williamtown has established an advisory group to establish links with local communities.

The Williamtown Advisory Group comprises local community representatives from Raymond Terrace, Medowie, Salt Ash, Williamtown and Tilligerry Peninsula and the Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council.  The group also includes representatives from Newcastle Airport Ltd, state and local government department officers, representatives from local business and the Hunter Business Chamber.

The Williamtown Advisory Group plans to meet on a six monthly basis, just prior to the Williamtown Consultative Forum meetings.

The Williamtown Advisory Group Terms of Reference and Minutes will be posted on this website.
