Welcome to the RAAF Museum. Housed at Point Cook (near Melbourne), the birthplace of the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Australian Air Force, the museum tells one of Australia's most important aviation stories, that of the second oldest air force in the world.

Check our location and opening hours before visiting. Admission is free but visitors over 16 will need photo ID to enter the RAAF Base.

Our Interactive Flying Displays are presented at 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Take a 360° tour of all hangars at the RAAF Museum.

Find out about becoming a volunteer.

If you're free this Thursday, 20 October, come to the RAAF Museum's Interactive Flying Display. On show will be a Corsair, one of the few WWll fighter bombers with folding wings. The display will start at 1:00pm sharp. Don't miss this opportunity as it is not often we have a Corsair strutting its stuff in the Point Cook skies.
