Welcome to the RAAF Museum. Housed at Point Cook (near Melbourne), the birthplace of the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Australian Air Force, the museum tells one of Australia's most important aviation stories, that of the second oldest air force in the world.

Check our location and opening hours before visiting. Admission is free but visitors over 16 will need photo ID to enter the RAAF Base.

Our Interactive Flying Displays are presented at 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Take a 360° tour of all hangars at the RAAF Museum.

Find out about becoming a volunteer.

Tarmac issues at the Museum will be resolved early in the new year and it is expected that the Museum Interactive Flying Displays and the Maintenance/Restoration viewing area will re-open for visitors at the end of February 2016.
