Bohle River
A dispersal airfield for Townsville, the airfield at Bohle River was constructed in 1942, and was visited by a variety of Australian and US units deploying to other fields in the South-West Pacific. Additionally, the base was also home to Nos 5 and 22 Repair and Salvage Units.
