Welcome to the RAAF Museum. Housed at Point Cook (near Melbourne), the birthplace of the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Australian Air Force, the museum tells one of Australia's most important aviation stories, that of the second oldest air force in the world.
Check our location and opening hours before visiting. Admission is free but visitors over 16 will need photo ID to enter the RAAF Base.
Our Interactive Flying Displays are presented at 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

!!! IMPORTANT NOTICE TO VISITORS OF THE RAAF MUSEUM !!
The RAAF Museum will be closed to the public for the period Monday 29 August 2016 through to Monday 3 October 2016 to accommodate for construction works in the main display area.
The RAAF Museum will reopen to the public on Tuesday, 4 October 2016.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
Please note that the closure does not affect the on-line sales for the Museum Shop. This continues to remain open 24 hours a day.
