Air Force Band

The Air Force Band, Based at RAAF Base Williams in Laverton, Victoria, Is the Air Force’s full-time, professional music unit.
As a key Air Force public relations asset, the Band supports many Defence Force and Government ceremonies and parades, as well as a vast range of community festivals, ex-service organisations and educational institutions.
The men and women of the Air Force Band regularly represent Australia at international events, such as the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at ANZAC Cove in Turkey. The Band in renowned for supporting the Defence Force wherever is located, with regular deployments to operational areas, including the Solomon Islands, East Timor and the Middle East.
