Flight Lieutenant Mark Keritz, 33, grew up in Vermont South, Victoria and began flying at age of 16. He began his RAAF career in 2006, studying a Bachelor of Technology in Aviation at the Australian Defence Force Academy. He graduated flying training on 217 Pilots Course in 2009, and was posted to 37 Squadron in NSW, where he flew the C-130H and J Hercules until 2016. During this time he was deployed on operations internationally, including UN assistance missions into Africa and various disaster relief missions throughout the Pacific region.
Following his time there he conducted Flying Instructors Course and instructed the advanced pilot’s course at No. 2 Flight Training School in WA. He was posted to Central Flying School in 2018 and joined the Roulettes as part of the first PC21 team in 2019. This will be Mark’s fifth season with the team.
Mark has over 3000 hours of military flying time. While not at work Mark likes camping, fishing, footy and spending time with his wife, two boys and dog.
