FLIGHT LIEUTENANT DANIEL ARMSTRONG 

Flight Lieutenant Daniel Armstrong, 28, grew up in Wilberforce, NSW, and joined the Air Force as a Direct Entry officer in 2011. Upon graduating from 229 Pilots Course in 2013 he was posted to 37SQN to fly the C130J Hercules.

Over the course of his tour at 37SQN, Daniel deployed on various exercises and operations both within Australia and abroad, including flying humanitarian assistance missions throughout the South Pacific. One of his most memorable C130J flights involved performing an airdrop to a submarine. Daniel is also the officer in charge of snowboarding for the RAAF Alpine Snow Sports Association.

Daniel has over 2200 military flying hours and this is his fourth season with the Roulettes. Outside of work Daniel enjoys spending his time exploring the Alpine regions of Australia and travelling overseas.
