FLIGHT LIEUTENANT DANIEL ARMSTRONG
Flight Lieutenant Daniel Armstrong, 26, grew up in Wilberforce, NSW, and joined the Air Force as a direct entry officer in 2011. Upon graduating from 229 Pilots course in 2013 he was posted to 37SQN to fly the C130J Hercules.
Over the course of his tour at 37SQN, Daniel deployed on various exercises and operations both within Australia and abroad, including fliyng humanitarian assistance missions to Fiji and Vanuatu. One of his most memorable C130J flights involved performing an airdrop to a submarine.
Daniel has over 2000 military flying hours and this is his first season with the Roulettes. Outside of work Daniel is a keen snowboarder, guitarist and karaoke enthusiast.
