Air Commander Australia Change of Command parade flypast

Up to three Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft from No. 3 Squadron and up to two C-130J Hercules from No. 37 Squadron will conduct a low level flypast over RAAF Base Glenbrook in support of the Air Commander Australia Change of Command parade.

The parade at RAAF Base Glenbrook signifies Air Vice-Marshal Joe Iervasi handing over his command to Air Vice-Marshal Darren Goldie.

All low level flying activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.

Further information about the aircraft can be found on our Technology page here and here.

Imagery of the aircraft is available on the Defence Image Gallery here and here.
