F/A-18F Super Hornets conduct Exercise Crimson Dawn over the Top End

Up to six Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18F Super Hornets from 82 Wing Training Flight will operate from RAAF Base Tindal to participate in Exercise Crimson Dawn, the final phase of the F/A-18F Operational Conversion Course.

F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft will conduct a wide range of flying activities utilising the large airspaces above the Top End as well as the Delamere Air Weapons Range.

Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability. As such, flypasts and flying displays may be subject to cancellation at short notice.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
