RAAF E-7A Wedgetail aircraft to fly over regional WA locations

Wednesday 16th – training approach into Esperance, WA before continuing on to land at RAAF Base Pearce.

Thursday 17th – training approach into Geraldton, WA before continuing on to land at Karratha Airport to refuel. Aircraft will depart Karratha and conduct a practice approach into Paraburdoo on return to RAAF Base Pearce.

Friday 18th – training approach into Woomera, SA before continuing on to land at RAAF Base Edinburgh to refuel. Aircraft will then depart RAAF Base Edinburgh and continue on to land at RAAF Base Williamtown.

Flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability.

  • An Air Force E-7A Wedgetail aircraft will conduct pilot training over regional WA communities. The training will include low level approaches without landing at various airfields, and approaches with landing into RAAF Base Pearce and Karratha Airport.
