Over 100 members from RAAF Bases Williams and Point Cook and the local community celebrated the Air Force’s 98th birthday at RAAF Base Point Cook on 28 Mar 2019.

The Air Force birthday gave us an opportunity to pause and reflect on our Air Force – both our proud history and how we want to evolve our Air Force for the future.

Established on 31 Mar 1921, the Royal Australian Air Force is the second oldest independent Air Force in the world, with RAAF Base Point Cook it's birthplace and the oldest continuously operating military airfield in the world.

Air Force looks forward to celebrating it's centenary in 2021.
