Mildura Airport, Victoria, will host instructor and trainee pilots from the Royal Australian Air Force No.1 Flying Training School (1FTS) as part of intermediate pilots’ flying training Exercise Millewa-Mallee Sunset.
Media are asked to assist in alerting local residents about the potential for noise across the training period.
Several Pilatus PC-21 aircraft from 1FTS at Royal Australian Air Force Base East Sale will arrive at Mildura on Sunday afternoon, with flying occurring during the following three weeks over 22 February to 14 November 2026.
Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability. As such, training may be cancelled at short notice.
