The Australian Defence Force (ADF) will be on show at the 2023 VAILO Adelaide 500 – Supercars with displays from all three Services, including flying displays from a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F-35A Lightning II and a Pilatus PC-21 aircraft.
Racegoers are invited to interact with ADF members and the various static displays throughout the event including Defence Force Recruiting, Team Army with their project cars, Project Matilda and Project Digger, as well as a Royal Australian Navy boat, the M1 Abrams tank, the Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV), infantry weapons and engineer equipment, and a host of other vehicles and machinery.
Flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to the variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability.
