Flypasts over Dubbo as part of Exercise Wiradjuri Sunrise

Dubbo Regional Airport will host 16 pilots from the Royal Australian Air Force as part of Exercise Wiradjuri Sunrise – an intermediate pilots course.

The course includes flying training and during the next 2 weeks, 6 PC21 Military Aircraft can be seen over Dubbo skies after they arrive at the airport on Sunday 7 April at 2.30 pm (approximately).

Flying is subject to variables including:

  • air traffic control requirements
  • weather
  • operational availability.

Training may be cancelled at short notice.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
