RAAF Base Amberley practice flying display

The Royal Australian Air Force will conduct a practice flying display of an F/A-18F Super Hornet at RAAF Base Amberley in the lead up of the RAAF Amberley Open Day Activity.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.

The display will take place over the airfield and involve dispensing of flares and the aircraft flying as low as 70 metres.

Further information about the F/A18-F Super Hornet can be found at F/A-18F Super Hornet page.
