The Royal Australian Air Force will host an extended fighter aircraft detachment from the Republic of Singapore Air Force over the period of 25 September – 10 October 2025. During this time, there will be periods of increased flying operations out of RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, Western Australia.
Additional to the Pilatus PC-21, and Hawk-127 Lead-in Fighter aircraft which are currently based out of RAAF Base Pearce, the base will host a small detachment of F-16C/D aircraft from the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
Defence is aware that the increased operations will see a surge in noise that may impact local residents in the Bullsbrook, West Bullsbrook, Ellenbrook, Aveley, The Vines, Lancelin, Gingin, Yanchep, Busselton, Pinjarra and surrounding communities.
Whilst every opportunity to reduce impacts to the local community will be taken, flying is subject to change due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and other aviation considerations.
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
