Members of the public may notice increased flying activity by C-17A Globemaster III and mobility transport aircraft as part of Exercise Global Dexterity 25-1.

Up to four C-17A Globemaster III aircraft from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and United States Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) will be conducting training flights in the regions around RAAF Bases Amberley, Richmond, Darwin and Townsville during Exercise Global Dexterity 25-1.
Exercise Global Dexterity is a bi-annual exercise designed to develop interoperability between RAAF and PACAF as they work together in the Indo-Pacific.
Crews conduct careful planning with air traffic control and other stakeholders to ensure flying activity can be conducted safely.
This activity is subject to variables including weather and operational availability of aircraft, and as such may be delayed or cancelled with little notice.
