Defence is proud to support Canberra Skyfire 2026 on Saturday 14 March.

A Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft from No. 77 Squadron at RAAF Base Williamtown will conduct a flying display over the event.

Australia’s Federation Guard will provide ceremonial support, including a gun salute, and the Australian Army Band will entertain the crowd.

Media note

Spokesperson interviews may be arranged through Defence Media.

All display activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.

The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.

Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence flying activities. Participating aircraft will operate with a view to minimising the impact on the local communities.
