The Royal Australian Air Force is proud to once again support Warbirds over Scone, the largest warbird air show in the Southern Hemisphere.
Attendees will have the opportunity to get up close to a variety of classic aircraft from No. 100 Squadron, including a Lockheed Hudson, Spitfire Mk.8, CAC Mustang and Wirraway. The event will also feature flying displays, opportunities to meet members of Combat Support Group and Air Force Balloon, and live music from the Air Force Sydney Rock Band.
All flying is subject to change, including short- notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and operational requirements.
Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence flying activities, and participating squadrons will operate with a view to minimising the impact on local communities.
Representatives from 100 Squadron are available for interviews.
Imagery of ADF personnel and assets participating in the air show will become available post-event at http://images.defence.gov.au/S20260303
