The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will join veterans and their families to honour the courage and immense sacrifice of Bomber Command during the Second World War at a commemorative service in Canberra, on Sunday 7 June.
As part of the commemoration, a Lockheed Hudson aircraft from No. 100 Squadron will conduct a flypast, approaching the Australian War Memorial heading north-east along Anzac Parade at approximately 11.00am.
The Hudson is the only airworthy example of its type left in the world and was used as a bomber by the RAAF during World War II.
