The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will conduct a flyover to mark the Transfer of Authority of Air Commander Australia from Air Vice-Marshal Steven Roberton, DSC, AM to Air Vice-Marshal Joe Iervasi, AM on Friday, 12 July 2019.
The flypast will take place at RAAF Base Glenbrook between 10am and 10:30am.
Up to four F/A-18A/B Hornet aircraft from No. 2 Operational Conversion Unit, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, will conduct two low-level passes and bomb-burst over RAAF Base Glenbrook.
The F/A-18A/B aircraft will arrive from the East and depart Glenbrook towards the North. The aircraft will be flying at speeds up to 850km/h and will fly no lower than 75 metres above ground level.
