Details

In support of the Very Special Kids Camp, the Air Force Balloon will visit the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February.

The Very Special Kids Camp is a twice-yearly weekend program which provides children living with life threatening illness, and their families, a weekend away. This program allows kids to just be kids while their parents and carers are connected to others in similar situations.

DATE:  Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February 2019

TIME:  9am – 3pm: tethered flights

LOCATION:  Somers, Mornington Peninsula, VIC, 3927

There will be limited opportunities for participants of the Very Special Kids Camp to experience a ride in the Air Force Balloon, subject to Air Force policy. Static and walk through displays may become available.

The Royal Australian Air Force highly values its good relationships with regional communities and is proud to support this program.

All flying and displays are subject to change due to weather conditions.
