Air Force Balloon visit to Narrandera and Lockhart

Air Force highly values its relationships with regional communities and the Air Force Balloon will be visiting New South Wales towns of Narrandera and Lockhart from 22-23 September.
 
The Balloon will be conducting tethered flights at the Henry Mathieson Oval, Pine Hill Road, Narrandera from 9:30am – 2pm on 22 September; and at the Lockhart Showgrounds, Treasure Street, Lockhart from 9am – 2pm on 23 September.
 
There will be limited opportunities for members of the public to experience a ride in the Air Force Balloon, subject to Air Force policy. Static and walk through displays may become available.
 
For over 26 years, the RAAF Balloon has travelled throughout Australia visiting communities and schools, inspiring an interest in aviation among young people and promoting the professionalism of the Air Force.
 
All flying and displays are subject to change due to weather conditions.
