In support of the TATFEST Tatura Lions Club Local Community Family Day, the Air Force Balloon will visit Mactier Park on Sunday, March 4.

The Balloon will be conducting tethered flights from 10 am to 4 pm at the event. There will be limited opportunities for members of the public to experience a ride in the Air Force Balloon, subject to Air Force policy. Static and walk through displays may become available.

The Balloon will also be conducting two school visits in Temora and Junee before returning to Canberra.

For over 26 years, the RAAF Balloon has travelled throughout Australia visiting communities and schools, inspiring an interest in aviation among young people and promoting the professionalism of the Air Force.

All flying and displays are subject to change due to weather conditions.
