Hawk 127 Lead-In Fighter aircraft from RAAF Base Pearce will conduct practice bombing at Muchea Air Weapons Range (MAWR), located approximately nine kilometres west of the base. As part of the currency training, two aircraft operating in hourly waves will release BDU-33 practice bombs over the range.
 
Dates:              04-08 October 2021
 
Times:             From 12.30pm and 3.30pm, Monday to Thursday
                         From 10.30am and 1.30pm, Friday
 
All flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather and other aviation considerations.
 
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.

This flying activity is part of regular training. Flights and timings are changeable to best meet training objectives, they are not a scheduled flypast. This notice is to advise the local community in this area that they may hear some noise. We remind the community that everyone must observe all COVID-19 related health measures in their respective local government areas, including stay at home orders where they are in force.
