A Royal Australian Air Force fastjet aircraft will conduct a flypast and aerial display at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama Bathurst Raceway on Sunday, 7 October at 10.30am.
A single F/A-18A Classic Hornet aircraft from No. 2 Operation Conversion Unit, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, will arrive from the north and conduct a high-speed flypast before showcasing their incredible skill with a low-level high-speed aerial handling display over Pit Straight.
The aircraft will fly at speeds up to 1000 km/hr and at heights no lower than 60m above ground level.
All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
