Royal Australian Air Force aircraft will conduct a flying display and a number of flypasts in the skies above NSW in support of Australia Day celebrations.

An F-35A Lightning II aircraft from Number 2 Operational Conversion Squadron based at RAAF Base Williamtown will take part in the display above Sydney Harbour.
A C-130J Hercules aircraft from Number 37 Squadron based at RAAF Richmond will conduct flypasts over Raymond Terrace and Windsor.
Australia Day is held annually on January 26th to reflect on our nation’s past and celebrate the Australian spirit, mateship and sense of community. The Royal Australian Air Force is proud to participate in Australia Day 2022 events.
Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability. As such, flypasts and displays may be subject to cancellation at short notice.
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
