Air Force flypasts - Remembrance Day - Tasmania

Operation Details Tab

Up to two King Air 350 aircraft from No. 32 Squadron will conduct two flypasts over Tasmania in support of Remembrance Day commemorations.

The first flypast will take place over the Hobart Cenotaph, Queens Domain about 11am.

The second flypast will take place over King Island War Memorial Park and Cenotaph at King Island Town Hall, about 12pm.

This year is the centenary of the First World War Armistice, and the final year of the Centenary of Anzac (2014-18). One hundred years on from the end of the First World War, Remembrance Day 2018 represents a hugely significant occasion in our nation’s history.
