Up to six Royal Australian Air Force Hawk 127 Lead-In Fighter aircraft from No. 79 Squadron based at RAAF Base Peace, WA will conduct training missions from Thursday 20 February to Friday 21 February 2020.
 
The aircraft will transit from RAAF Base Pearce to Geraldton Airport, WA and return, delivering vital training opportunities for junior Air Force pilots to hone their skills in general flight training and navigation.
 
The mission represents an important training phase for Air Force aircrew validation and proficiency; maintaining the highest standards of skillsets to ensure optimal operational readiness.
 
DATE:                      Thursday 20 February 2020 - up to four aircraft transiting.                               
                                 Friday 21 February 2020 - up to two aircraft transiting.

TIME:                       11:00am to 1:00pm
 
LOCATION:            Transiting from RAAF Base Pearce to Geraldton Airport, WA and return. Layover in Geraldton for lunch on each day.
