Operation Details Tab

In celebration of the graduation of Officer Training School Students, during the graduation parade a single Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) AP-3C Orion aircraft will perform a low level flypast over the parade ground.
The flypast will take place at 10:10am and 10:25am,  on Thursday, 21 June over RAAF Base East Sale, VIC.
The aircraft will fly from North to South and then back again over the parade ground. The AP-3C Orion will fly at an altitude of between 75-150 metres.
The AP-3C Orion has been in service with the RAAF for nearly 50 years, earning a remarkable operational record operating around the globe in a variety of roles and missions.
Based at RAAF Base Edinburgh the AP-3C Orion is in the process of a graduated withdrawal from service, with the aircraft due to retire when it reaches its life of type.
The AP-3C Orion is being replaced by the P-8A Poseidon; the first aircraft arrived in 2016.
All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
