C-27J Spartan flypast of Enogerra

A Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-27J Spartan transport aircraft will conduct a series of flypasts of Enoggera on Sunday, July 31, for the Gallipoli Barracks Open Day
DATE:                    Sunday, 31 July 2022

TIME:                     2.05pm.
VENUE:                 Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera. Residents in surrounding suburbs will see the aircraft.               
The aircraft will approach Gallipoli Barracks from the south for its initial flypast, flying at an altitude no lower than 152 metres and with its rear cargo ramp open. Following this initial flypast, the aircraft will then climb and reposition for another flypast, descending to no lower than 152 metres altitude and flying with the cargo ramp closed.
The C-27J Spartan is a light tactical airlifter operated by Air Force’s No. 35 Squadron, colloquially known as Wallaby Airlines, and is based at RAAF Base Amberley. More information about Air Force’s C-27J Spartan is available on Our Technology page.
