C130-J Hercules to fly over Canberra

A Royal Australian Air Force C130-J Hercules will fly over Canberra this Thursday, 28 March to commemorate Air Force’s 98 th birthday.

The aircraft will depart from RAAF Base Richmond and reach the Grove Memorial in Majura, flying from south to north at a height of 75 metres.

The flypast will coincide with a commemorative ceremony at the Grove Memorial, led by Deputy Chief of Air Force AVM Gavin Turnbull, AM.

All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
