Details
The Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft diversion training into Canberra Airport, planned to occur at approximately 2pm Thursday 28 January, has been cancelled.

Unfortunately the weather conditions at the No. 3 Squadron F-35A’s home base, RAAF Base Williamtown, are not conducive to achieving the desired outcomes from this aviation
training activity.

Diversion training is an essential part of pilot training on fast jet aircraft, and Air Force plans to reschedule this activity for a later date.
