Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II pilots from No. 2 Operational Conversion Unit will conduct diversion training into RAAF Base Richmond, NSW.
VENUE: RAAF Base Richmond, New South Wales
Up to three aircraft will conduct circuits into RAAF Base Richmond, before returning to RAAF Base Williamtown.
Diversion training is an essential part of training on fast jet aircraft to enable pilots to land at different airfields.
Flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.
