A Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18A/B Hornet Fighter and a P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol aircraft will flypast over Adelaide on Thursday 27 June as part of the ticket launch for the upcoming Edinburgh Air Show.

The Australian Defence Force Air Show will be held at RAAF Base Edinburgh from 9-10 November. Tickets go on sale to the public from Monday 1 July, with pre-sales available through Ticketmaster shortly.

At approximately 10:00am the F/A-18 Hornet and P-8A Poseidon are scheduled to fly north along King William Street to Elder Park. 
From there, the aircraft will fly west to Henley Beach Jetty at approximately 10:05am, then track north along the coast to St Kilda, before returning to land at RAAF Base Edinburgh at approximately 10:20am.
At certain points the aircraft will fly as low as 900 feet (275 metres) across Adelaide City, and as low as 500 feet (153 metres) along the coast.
