RAAF Base Williamtown will conduct heightened military flying operations during Exercise Talisman Sabre 21.
 
DATES:                            12 July to 03 August 2021
 
VENUE:                            RAAF Base Williamtown
 
 
FLYING SCHEDULE:       Aircraft will operate on week days and weekends during routine flying hour. Daily flying from 18 - 31 July, 0900 - 1700  local                                           
                                          
AIRCRAFT:                       Aircraft including F-35A Lightning II and E-7A Wedgetail, will operate from RAAF Base Williamtown as part of the exercise.
 
Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence flying activities. Participating squadrons will operate with a view to minimising the impact on local communities.
 
The health and safety of all personnel participating in this exercise is paramount. All Australian Defence Force personnel are required to adhere to state and territory government travel restrictions and health advice. A range of COVID-19 risk mitigation measures will also be in place.
