F-35A aircraft to conduct diversion training at RAAF Base Richmond

Up to three Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft from No. 3 Squadron at RAAF Base Williamtown, will conduct diversion training into RAAF Base Richmond at around 2.30pm on 5 August.
Air Force fastjet aircrew regularly undertake diversion training to enable them to land aircraft safely at alternate airfields.
RAAF Base Richmond is a divert airfield for RAAF Base Williamtown military aircraft in the event they are unable to land at their home base.
Please note that all flying is subject to change due to weather and other aviation considerations.
