A single F-35A Lightning II from No 2 Operational Conversion Unit will conduct low level aerobatics display practice over the northern side of Port Stephens and RAAF Base Williamtown.
 
DATE:                         Monday 01 November - Morning
                                   Tuesday 02 November - Morning
                                     
LOCATION:                Northern side of Port Stephens, Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest area, NSW
 
DATE:                         Thursday 04 November – Between 3pm and 4pm
 
LOCATION:                Overhead RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW
 
 
Fast jet aircraft from RAAF Base Williamtown use the airspace around the northern edge of Port Stephens as a designated aerobatics and display practice area. All low level flying activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines
 
Flying is subject to change due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and other aviation considerations
 
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
