Up to four Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II from No. 3 Squadron will return to RAAF Base Williamtown from Exercise Red Flag Alaska 21-3.

TIME:                      Between 3.30pm and 5.30pm
VENUE:                  RAAF Base Williamtown, New South Wales
 
Residents are advised programmed flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and other aviation considerations.
 
Exercise Red Flag Alaska 21-3 was the first overseas exercise for the Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II deploying from Australia, alongside the E-7A Wedgetail and EA-18G Growler, aircrew and support personnel.
 
Royal Australian Air Force personnel who deployed for Exercise Red Flag Alaska 21-3 had been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to their departure and whilst deployed complied with both Australian and United States COVID-19 guidelines.  All personnel arriving into Australia are subject to pre-departure screening and testing, mandatory 14 day quarantine and returning a negative COVID-19 test result before exiting quarantine.
