Australia’s next generation of fighter pilots have just graduated as F/A-18 Hornet pilots after participating in Exercise High Sierra in Townsville.

Exercise High Sierra is three weeks long and represents the last phase of the 6 month F/A-18 operational conversion course.

The F/A-18A/B aircraft will depart Townsville on the morning of 13 December 2018 to return home to RAAF Base Williamtown, arriving at approximately 12.00 – 12.30 pm.
