Residents living around RAAF Base Amberley will have the opportunity to watch an F/A-18F Super Hornet from No. 1 Squadron conducting display practice for the Edinburgh Air Show between Monday 28 October and Tuesday 5 November.
The practice will occur in the airspace over the base and surrounding areas. Residents can expect to see a variety of manoeuvres with aircraft reaching speeds of 1000km/h and no lower than 60 m.
All display practice activities are conducted within strict guidelines. Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of any military activity. Air Force appreciates the ongoing support of the local communities.
