Operation Details Tab

A single F/A-18 A/B Classic Hornet aircraft from Number 2 Operation Conversion Unit will conduct diversion training into RAAF Base Richmond on Tuesday 13 August between 6pm and 7pm.

The aircraft will conduct instrument approaches and ‘touch and go’ landings as part of the final phase of fighter training for aircrew.

Residents should note that the date and time for this activity are subject to variables including weather and operational availability, and may change. We request that local residents do not call RAAF Base Richmond directly for updated timings.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military activity, and Air Force appreciates the ongoing support of the Hawkesbury community during these training activities.
