In celebration of No. 252 Advanced Pilots Course graduation, the following displays and flypasts will occur:
3:30 pm 30 August: a solo Pilatus PC-9/A aircraft will perform a low level aerobatics display above RAAF Base Pearce; 3:30 pm 30 August: Up to 22 Pilatus PC-9/A aircraft will take the skies over Perth in a formation that resembles a large aircraft, which is also known as the 'Thunderbird' formation; 11am 31 August: a single Air Force Pilatus PC-9/A aircraft will perform a low level aerobatics display over RAAF Base Pearce; 11am 31 August: up to nine Pilatus PC-9/A aircraft will conduct a 'Diamond 9' formation over RAAF Base Pearce. The Pilatus PC-9/A is a two-seat, single engine, turboprop aircraft that is the advanced pilot training aircraft in the Australian Defence Force. All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
