Flypast for Classic Hornet Conversion Course graduation

Up to 14 F/A-18A/B Hornet aircraft will conduct a ‘Tigerbird’ formation flypast and a low initial and pitch manoeuvre over RAAF Base Williamtown at approximately 10am on Thursday 21 June 2018.
 
The flypast is the finale of the graduation of 18-1 F/A-18 Hornet Operational Conversion course, conducted by No. 2 Operational Conversion Unit (2OCU).
 
The Tigerbird formation will track from Seaham via Raymond Terrace to RAAF Base Williamtown, at which point it will split and land back at RAAF Base Williamtown.
 
The crews involved have recently graduated from 2OCU after six months of intensive fighter pilot training.
 
All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
