The Royal Australian Air Force will conduct a flypast over the Australia War Memorial on Wednesday, February 21, in support of a Last Post Ceremony commemorating Wing Commander Hilson Christopher Newton Daly.
 
The PC-9/A aircraft from Number 4 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, will conduct the flypast over the Australian War Memorial at 5:05pm - note timing is approximate.
 
Wing Commander Daly is a former Commanding Officer of Number 4 Squadron who was killed in action on the 17 November 1944 whilst serving in New Guinea.
 
The aircraft will make its approach over Lake Burley Griffin before turning left down Anzac Parade towards the War Memorial.
 
The aircraft will fly at speeds up to 560 kilometres per hour and no lower than 60 meters above ground level. 
 
All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
