Flypast in support of service commemorating the Bombing of Dawin

The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will conduct a flypast on Monday, February 19, in support of the City of Darwin commemorative service marking 76 years since the Bombing of Darwin.

Up to two F/A-18A/B Hornet aircraft from Number 75 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Tindal, will conduct the flypast over Darwin Cenotaph at 9.58am - note timing is approximate.

The aircraft will fly at speeds up to 830 kilometres per hour and no lower than 75 meters above ground level. 

All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
