His Excellency General, the Honourable David Hurley, AC, DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, will attend a parade to present the Queen’s Squadron Standard to the Royal Australian Air Force’s No. 86 Wing at RAAF Base Amberley.
 
A Squadron Standard is a ceremonial flag of honour awarded for 25 years of service by operational, combat support, intelligence or battlespace control squadrons and units.
 
Approximately 100 personnel will participate in the parade and up to two C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft will flypast at approximately 9.40am.
 
All flying is subject to change due to factors such as weather, air traffic control, and operational availability.
