Hawk 127 flyover in support of the reopening of the Anzac Memorial, Hyde Park

The Royal Australian Air Force will conduct a low flyover over of Hyde Park at approximately 10.38am on Saturday, 20 October in support of the reopening of the Anzac Memorial.

Up to three Hawk 127 Lead-in-Fighter aircraft from No. 76 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, will approach Hyde Park from the North tracking in a Southerly direction before turning left heading to the coast and returning to Newcastle.

The aircraft will fly at speeds up to about 330kts (611 km/h) at heights down to 500ft (152m) above ground level.

All flying is subject to change due to weather and other operating requirements.
