Hawk 127 support to Battle of Britain Commemoration - Newcastle

Up to two Royal Australian Air Force Hawk 127 Lead-in-Fighter aircraft from No. 76 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, will conduct a flypast over Newcastle on Friday, 13 September. The flypast will commemorate the Battle of Britain as part of the ceremonial program.
The aircraft will perform a single level flypast over the Cenotaph, Civic Park, approaching from the West and departing to the East and will fly at speeds up to 800km/hr and at heights no lower than 150m above ground level.
