Hawk flypast for Kurri Kurri Centenary of Anzac Parade

The Royal Australian Air Force will conduct a low flyover over of the streets of Kurri Kurri  at approximately midday on Friday, 26 October in support of the Centenary of Anzac Parade.

A single Hawk 127 Lead-in-Fighter aircraft from Number 76 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, will approach the town from the north-east tracking in a south-westerly direction over Lang Street before returning to Newcastle.

The aircraft will fly at speeds up to 350kts (650 km/h) at heights down to 500ft (152m) above ground level.

All flying is subject to change due to weather and other operating requirements.
